Conventional Loans

The KICKSTART program can be used with conventional mortgage loans, including both fixed-rate and adjustable rate mortgages. We can discuss the options with you to help determine which choice best fits your needs.

FHA 203B Loan

If you would like a loan insured by the Federal Housing Administration (FHA), then the option available to you through the KickStart pre-approval process is the FHA 203B loan. Speak with a Prysma loan specialist for more information.

You will meet with ne of Prysma’s licensed and experienced Mortgage Loan Originators to work out all of the details of being pre-approved for a loan through our KickStart service. Your credit report, pay stub, tax returns and bank statements will be reviewed to identify the amount you can be pre-approved for.


Find Your Home & Make an Offer

Now that you have used KICKSTART to get pre-approved for a loan, you can go out and search for a property within your budget. While out looking for homes, try to keep in mind its price, location, and the local school ratings and property taxes. Once you have found the perfect home for you and your family, it is time to make an offer and negotiate the final price with the seller.


Application Adjustment

Once the final sales price has been determined, you will revisit with the Prysma’s Mortgage Loan Originator to discuss any remaining conditions that need to be added to the file.  


closing & Moving in

After your is loan is expedited through the final review process, you can close the deal and move into your new home. Congratulations!

Notes on Pre-Approval

  • This program is only available to loans given in Connecticut, Florida, and Massachusetts.
  • This program utilizes in-house files only
  • Kickstart is available for conventional and FHA 203B loans only
  • The Homeowners Insurance Premium is $80 for Single Family Homes (SFH) and $140 for Multifamily Dwellings.
  • The Real Estate Taxes are calculated as follows: 80% of the estimated sales price multiplied by the mill rate of probable town. Mill rates for towns may be found on the state government websites for respective states.
